An Asian man named Peter Stubbs called saying he was from Computer licensing dept of Microsoft. He said my laptop had been hacked and a third party was using my licensing microsoft number for illegal use. I was offered to have my agreement terminated and that I would not be able to use my laptop again. The other option was to type in a code. This is when I told them to shut down my laptop and put the phone down. I am still using my laptop and the call was a scam.
I've been called twice by this number. On both occasions there has been no-one at the other end when I picked up the phone.
Every day for the pass month this number calls but no one is on the other end.
I have bt call guardian so this person cannot get through but they have tried every day for the past four days. I would have given up by now!!
