A female called me from this number purporting to be from a company that wanted to provide me with a medical emergency system that would alert the emergency services in a crisis. It would send information requiring a category 1 response from the emergency services? It would include a burglar alarm system and smoke detection system that would directly alert the required services. This would be provided free, except for an initial installation charge of £299. When I suggested it was an offer too good to be true, having a burglar alarm and smoke detection system for £299, the caller hung up.
