This was left as a contact number on my answering machine. I was informed that the caller was providing me a final notice that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and that I needed to call this number to find out more information on my case.

The people at Agile told me that mine wasn't protected and that's how I got the virus. The virus did come from a Foreign Country he said. But who and how, I'll never know. Just another clever computer hacker. Also, make sure your Firewall is strongly protected. Agile also added Adblock Plus to my computer to give it more security. They also changed my Anti-Virus from Avast to AVG CloudCare. I paid $360.00 for Agile, but hopefully I'll get part of my money back because they have to delete it. I paid $300 For Elite Care 4 U. I'm one of those people whose biggest fear is getting a virus and Bamm, it happened. I buy a lot of extra security features hoping I don't get a virus or hacked, but it didn't work. My girlfriend got a virus too and she was told that the reason for it was because her IP Address wasn't protected. So contact your computer carrier to make sure they protect your IP Address. Each time I was on the phone with Agile and Elite Care 4 U, each call took about 3 to 3 1/2 hours for them to shadow my computer and clean it up and install what they did. But each company did stuff to my computer to make it run much faster. But...then I got that blasted virus, through Agile.....I don't know what's going on. I'm about ready to take a sledge hammer to my computer and get rid of it altogether. But, I'm going to give Elite Care 4 U a chance. After I signed up with them, they've called me back several times to make sure everything was working right on my computer. The only problem I've had so far, is when I turn on my computer, my pretty desktop picture with all of the icons on it is gone. It's just a white page with little tiny dots on it, but I called them and they fixed it. So far, so good. Hope all of this helps you all. Good Luck. |

However googling the number later, it appears to belong to an accounting service in the UK. Clearly their line has been hijacked. I get a lot of harassing calls like this whenever I register a domain name with godaddy. They probably just trawl whois for recently registered domains and pester the people who registered with services they haven't asked for, which should be illegal. This is the eighth such call this month. Absolute bullsh*t. |
