SCAM prerecorded message threatening criminal action by the US Internal Revenue Service. A generic prerecorded robo-call is NOT how the IRS informs you of a problem with your taxes. If you have a problem with your taxes you can contact the IRS at 1-800-TAX-1040 (1-800-829-1040), just like it says on the IRS website. DO NOT call some unlisted number in Indiana (probably VOIP spoofed from a computer in India, Russia, or Africa). THIS CALL IS A SCAM. If you received a call from this number informing you that you are in trouble with the IRS, please report this incident and this number to your local law enforcement agency immediately. These scammers operate with almost 100% impunity because almost NOBODY ever takes the 5 minutes to file a police report. If you're sick and tired of thieves trying to trick good people out of their money with lies and threats, then go take 5 minutes at a police station and report this number.
